hi there i inherited a Edgar sealy black arrow fly rod from my great grandfather and was wondering if anyone know what reel goes with it

Must be about 40 years old, probably a bit too heavy to use compared to modern rods , unless it is a short model . I would keep eyes open for a reel of similar vintage and then exhibit it on the tackle room wall . I inherited a lovely Ogden Smith early glass river rod when I was young and broke it with youthful exuberance trying to reach the horizon .

that brings back memories, I bought my first rod in 1954, an edger sealy 12ft spanish reed with a split cane top length, and a center pin reel all for less than £5.
