River Earn Comrie

Over the last 3 summers I have spent a week fishing the earn in late June. Have caught sea trout, wild rainbows and even some grayling. Apart from some some small brownies no sign of anything decent. Has anyone fished here and do you know if there is much by way of wild brown trout around and best tactics to find them ?
