First chance to type since returning on Sunday. Firstly, big thanks to Smoothie for organising the day and cooking the rolls (oh, and for the rigs - will get a pint next time we fish near a pub), Richard for providing the website that enables these meets to be put on and for dragging the crate of beers along and Welly and Kiwi for supplying the food and choccies (and in Kiwis case not rubbing the rugby result in too much!). A very enjoyable and long day. Only caught one small flounder about the size of my hand but it is another species to my list and it was great fun to fish in good company. Looking forward to getting on a boat trip with everyone some time. Anyway, got to go as the washing machine repair man is coming to unblock the mud left behind after washing my clothes.
