there is no spoon

hi i was wondering how to fish a flounder spoon. its one of the things everyone has in their kit and as i live near an estuary it may be worth trying. do i need to add weight? rate of retrieve etc

i just use beads as the spoons are a pig to cast, know good from a boat though
