Whats this then ?

Caught this last night at Eastney (report to follow) but what do you think it is ?



Poor pic unfortunately which does not do the markings justice but a very light mottled effect. Clearly a juvenile fish but what ?

I thought flounder but it had no bony lumps and the skin was smooth both ways along the fish, deffo not a plaice or Dab so I think possibly a Brill

I would say its a flounder??? Unfortunately it ISNT a brill!!!!!

oi mate shut it, lol, now mag house i fished south parade pier all night on thusday and had a flounder about twice the size of urs ( not bragging now philipn ) 7bass 2-3 pounders , 1 dogy , and crap loadsa pouting. i have i feeling i mite no you....hmmm.

mate have you ever fished down here absolutly bol*x during daytime only good during night and they only reason i caught that many was that i was there for 13 hours so. you should come dwn on holiday down here or something and try it out in portsouth of southparade pier

you maybe right been there during daytime wasnt that good never fished night was on holiday about 2 years ago much prefair ireland suberb fishing and people
