Easy and quick hair-rig

Hi guys,
just thought you might like this little tip on hair-rigs.This is a lot easier and faster to rebait than using a baiting needle and boilie stops. As you can see from the picture its the same as a normal hair rig except you tie a shank of a hook where u would usually have the loop. The point of the hook can easily be snipped with pliers.
This makes baiting up just a case of pushing the hook shank into the bait. This will hold boilies on the hook very securley aswell as firmer baits likes peperami.
I use this a lot at commercial fisheries for medium size carp and saves a hell of a lot of fiddling about after each fish.

hope u like it
jambo

Re: Easy and quick hair-rig

Is it supposed to be a barbed shank off a worm or baitholder hook?
If not, how does that hold?

Thumbs up Re: Easy and quick hair-rig

Excellent tip Jambo. I think that Omahas tip of using a barbed shank would be worth trying too.
