Line to Spool

Can anyone show/tell me the best way to tie line to a spool. Went river fishing for the first time last week, didn't have much line on - well you must know the rest, the knot came undone and all my line, feeder etc went floating

Cheers

Re: Line to Spool

Well I do not recomend joining two lines together just to fill your spool unless its backing , Easy knot to connet your line to your spool is Uni Knot

Having a full spool with good line may sound a lot of money but when you think how many trip you will get out of it for the cost of a few pints of maggots
