| I have just been given a number of different size floats. only one has the weight on it. what's the easiest way to find out the max weight of each float. |

| Re: floats You've jsut got to remember that the pressure is different in a bottle than lakes so it may need slight adjustment at the lake side, I tend to slide the float 4ft up the line and use the bulk shotting method until the water is at the base of the tip then i plumb depth etc I then tend to find that the shot needs adjusting as i change it to 'shirt button' pattern but it isn't majorly time consuming |

| Re: floats Everything with fishing is trial and error- the right weight to put on the line, the right time to fish, the right hole- even down to the right type and variation of bait.; ![]() |
