method mix

i have never tried the method,i have watched people using it with a great deal of success.
what do you recommend as the best mix,i've to give it a try this summer.

I don't use it anymore, and can't really remember what method I used, but I think it consisted of 50%brown crumb, and 50% of something black (carp seem too like the colour), I'd go for strawberry crumb if you were after tench.

I always used too add little bits of hookbait, loosefeed into it as well, and also a liquid attractant. Predator Plus is a good one for carp, as is Liquid Mollases.

saw some specific meathod feeder mix in shop yesterday, does this vary much from other groundbait(as was more expensive)
or does it just bind better as had probs getting groundbait too stck on feeder other day(although only first try, tried too copy tj's mix, looked same but fell off )
any help taken as seemed very effective way too fish

With method mix you need to find out which is a sweat mix which is the light mix etc there are a few types. The mising part of the ground bait is the part that everyone gets wrong.

i think the important thing with groundbait is not to add too much water. and i also think that it is a good idea to mix in with your groundbait a few baits similar and/or the same as your hookbait.
eg. my favourite method bait is pellet paste with sweetcorn on/in the method feeder with sweetcorn as hookbait. NEVER FAILS FOR ME
