ne one tried black pudding for bait

hi was just wondering if ne one has tried black pudding for bait its made of blood and has nice bits of fat in it so i thought with that it might tempt some fish but i think it whould be best to use an hair rig and if the fish dont eat it i might as well eat it lol i just feel like experimenting with some different baits that you can easily buy in a supermarket

Good idea, would work really well for tench I think, probaly chub, barbel and carp too. Give it a go, and let us know how you get on mate

annything with blood in is sure to attract the eels,having said that though i might just give it a try next weekend.

Well, think I'm gonna try this at Cobbleacre.

A big chunk for the cats (they'll have anything bloody surely...) and a cube for the carp.

How long do you think it would be before it went "off" ?
