You can buy hair rigg from good tackle dealers about £1.50 each just buy one and give it a go - they work

You can also us hair rigs for launcheon meat ( for got to add that one to tench baits

I use trout pellets very small ones

Though you can get small boilies to get them in the mood to fish

from the angling shop near me i get a pack of 5 korum hair rigs with stops attached as well all u need to do is tie them to the line i use them on the float with luncheon meat some times if you want to hook pellets you can buy a little hand drill about 1mm u just drill them and stick them on the hair rig or you can band them witch is easier just rob one of your anoying sisters little elasticy hair band things and stick them on the trout pellet and then thread the hook onto it so the pellet is sitting on the shank of the hook.
