Crappies

Hey ya'll I'm new here and I'll keep it simple, what's your favorite rig/lures for fishing crappies? I've never been into it much, just pick up a couple here and there, but now I have my own truck and canoe and wanna head out this weekend or possibly even tomorrow and really nail some. I have the classic yellow grubs and spinners which I've personally had luck with, and I also have couple other jigs n' grubs that I've nailed panfish and perch on before. There's also the classic minnow ;). Thanks for your input.

Have a good n'

Crappie

Re: Crappies

I've never really tried to fish for crappies. They just sort of take whatever I'm fishing with. Never had them say no to something, though I'd rather not get them on my line.

Re: Crappies

I am new here but I love fishing for crappie. I have tried powerbait for crappies and loved it! Well I think I do anyway... Fish just take it and run, I have not figured out how to get the hook set right. Also plastic swirl tails work great. I put two on my line (a top and bottom) and have good luck that way! Best of luck

Re: Crappies

those little "buzz baits" seem to be catching alot these days. of course this is in America and a crappie is any lil' panfish such as a pumpkinseed, bluegill, rockbass, ect...
