Hot dogs?

Have ya'll ever used hot dogs for bait?

When I was little we used to go camping and one day we wanted to go fishing but all we had were hotdogs. We got quite a few rainbow trout with them, and some perch. I haven't been fishing in awhile, but I'm thinking that I'll have to try it again next time I go out.

Has anyone else had any luch with them?

No, seriously though, when I was a kid we used to fish in a little pond with catfish and bluegill, we used a LOT of bologna, which is I guess the same as hot dogs, so yeah, used to use that and that only for many years... Dunno how it works with REAL breeds of fish tho h
