Lightbulb Worm Getter

Does anybody know how to make a worm shocker to get worms out of the ground. I've seen it done but I would like to know how to do it correctly. Thanks

Re: Worm Getter

i have neva heard of a worm shocker but all i do is get a bucket of soupy water, chuck it over a certain area in your garden, and leave it for a while and wait for results....this works really good for me so maybe you could give it a try...a good recommendation.

I did it a couple of days ago and a masssssssivvvvvve worm come up, i cant even explain the size of this worm, i was drawn to thinking it was a snake but this worm was humungos.. lol but soapy water will do the job but be patient, they have to come up from the depth so dont go into thinking "cant be bothered" kind of thing, be patient

Re: Worm Getter

Worked Great for me, But Dad didn't like the rig. He made ma throw it out. Now I can do it if I want. Also try to spinkle used coffee grounds on wet soil then come back at dark.

Re: Worm Getter

Have too agree with Richard.

Simply get some water in a watering can, add some washing up liquid, then sprinkle. It irritates the worms skin(although it doesn't harm them), so they come up within 10 minutes.

A lot safer
