| Problem with my GB mix... I have been fishing for a long while and i have been using the Method feeders. I have always had the problem of getting the mix right so that when it gets to the water, it desperses nice and attractively over the area im fishing. My problem is that i will put my GB on my Method Feeder, cast out, leave it out for a short length of time, 30 minutes, and when i reel back in, the GB is still excatly the same as it was when i cast out, it hasent even come of the Method Feeder..... Wot is the problem here...im using breadcrum mix, which comes in shops, and a p.v.1 binder to hold it together a bit.....??? All posts appreciated.... |

| Re: Problem with my GB mix... Welcome to the forum Parky ![]() I don't use the mthod feeder or groundbait much when I'm fishing, but I'd hazard a guess in saying you're making the gb too sticky Here's a good post from tjnorton that may help you Ground bait prep __________________ Dan `·.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸ Big or small, look after them all! ¸.·´¯`·.¸ ><((((º> |

| Re: Problem with my GB mix... Welcome to the fishing forum Yes sound that your mix is to heavy or you are compacting the ground bait into it to hard What I do is make some up and then roll a ball and drop in it into your sink and see how it breaks down / time ect . That way you can get the mix just right and see how it reacts __________________ Richard|Sea Fishing |Carp Fishing| Spud Gun | Zander fishing | Fishing Reports | Hunting Reports |

| Re: Problem with my GB mix... yeh good point but it kinda contradicts itself because when i make it too "light" and not push it onto the method feeder much, u can see it just come all of when it hits the water.... i cant seem to win... |
