Largemouth Bass love perch but small ones i bought a rapala k-9 that looked like a perch orange stomach green top i hooked like a 10pound largemouth with 8 pound test line i tightned my drag and snap i was

Maybe try a long wire hook through the head and out the band, or try a crawler rig w/2 wire hooks w/a short (2"or3") of mono between them, like a stinger hook (which would work too). Rigged Carolina or Texas style.
If on the water, cast toward the shore to promising looking structure, or from the shore, cast along the bank to undisturbed water.

I don't see anything about nightcrawlers in here, but they seem very similar to lobworms. Nightcrawlers are fat worms, that are longer and fatter than regular garden worms.

Yes, from an bit I read on the web, the description of catching lob worms in the dark is identicle to night crawlers...best guess, they are the same.
