Homemade Rig Storage

Hey,

Just a quick simple question..

Whats the best way to store some pre-made hair rigs? so they are easy accesible on the day your fishing..

homemade items prefrably

You could wrap them round some pipe lagging held in place with pins or buy a cheap rig board or make one using cork or foam

craft shops , but you can get purpose built ones cheap, i bought a prologic hard backed wallet with rig board and loads of pouches for about a tenner. you can pick them up even cheaper if you shop around

Just pin the hair loop to the lagging then wrap it round the circumference, then pin the loop at the other end ,Simples !

As a little refinement to the pipe lagging, I use it but store it in a container from bulk blank cds. the little spindle holds the lagging central and the see through cover lets me see the rigs without opening every one. I use it mainly for wire traces and pike rigs, but have used them for hair rigs too.

Hey mithrandir, sounds a gd idea, but what's confusin me is how would u store the rig on the pipe lagging? Put hook in end wrap about and then do what with the swivel end? Where do u store this? Show me a picture if u can mate!! Cheers

Place swivel on pipe lagging , then with a pin (the knob type) put it into the swivel , wrap link around lagging and then cut hook into lagging
