| Pre-tying hair rigs? Hi, Firstly, i am sorry if this is the wrong section! - Please dont flame me. THIS IS NOT A GUIDE/TUTORIAL Anyways, I recently have started hair rigging at my local pool and i find this method working a treat, I always tie my hair rigs at the bank, using a standard hook tyer to put on a eyed hook, then ill use some thinner line as my hair on my hook going through the line, i adjust the length of my hair by wrapping it around my hook a couple times till suited. The problem im having is when its cold it seems to take me forever to tie something cause my hands are like ice blocks, so.. What i would like to know is, are there any ways to pre-tye hair rigs without using swivels. like loops? Pictures and information will be greatly appreciated, Cheers guys, Happy Fishing! ![]() |

| Re: Pre-tying hair rigs? Hey Nick, Thank's for the advice, Is there any ways i can use like, Tie a loop on reel line, then on my pre-tied hair rig another loop? and put them through each other and put the hook through the one loop i made to keep attached? Example; ![]() A is the loop from reel line, i put my B into A, once i have them in i put my C (hook) through the loop on b so it will lock into A. Would this work? |
