new and needs help!

hi all, Im new here and new to fishing. I fished when i was a kid but want to get back into it. I got most tackle what i used as a kid (but new) what i need to know is what baits are best in small ponds and what other tackle what could help (apart from rod,reels,hooks,floats,shots)also other ways to fish apart from float fishing. Thanks for the help.

well the best way of fishing is open ended feeder in my point of view because u can get a bed of bait out but i just bought this float that u can put method mix round it good idea

and for bait well tell me and wot is in the pond and i will tell u wot bait to us e

Its pond and lake fishing fishing for all kind of fish.

Its best to ask local tackle shops and people fishing the pond on what baits best as diffrent bait work better on diffrent waters.

1 of my local lake sweetcorn works best.
Another pellets work another lunchenmeat works better.

Depends what rods you have to ways of fishing you can do.

Ive just been to the pond and there using pellets. How do they work do use a feeder or can u put them onto a hook?

u get different types of pellets u get hookable ones and trowout ones and wen u put a hair rig on

what do u think about basic bates like worm,maggots,bread and sweetcorn

Hi bpool81, There allsorts of ways to fish the pellet, but if you are just starting then I would recommend that you use soundbait Hookable pellets try the 8mm ones, use the following rig as float rig, feed little and often with 6mm normal pellets. With the rig below, it is worth using a bodied wagglar rather than an insert. Try it and see how it goes, it is worth looking at the site and see what feeder set-ups are posted on the site.

i think another good idea is that u should bring extra bait like lucheon meat but the enhanced one from fishing shops and sweetcorn and good groundbait
