| Re: new to fishing need tips for lake fishing Hi there Patience and bait are the secrets, meat works well for most fish, you can get lots of variations at your local supermarket, try different types, experiment is the key. Good luck |

| Re: new to fishing need tips for lake fishing I Would have to agree with twinkle, Meat is a very good bait. I tend to cut mien up as fine as i can, small cubes at around 6mm - 8mm, i have an old chip cutter that does thick and thin chips, i push the meat through and slice the meat up with a knife. You can buy meat cutters in most good tackle shops. A meat i found extremly good is bacon grill from Lidl at 79p a tin it is a lot cheaper than lunchon meat and i think its better for staying on the hook. __________________ "The muscles of 20 men, and the brains of 20 mussels", |

| Re: new to fishing need tips for lake fishing Is the lake well fished ? If so then you may fined the fish wary on the weekends and day times and find the carp feed more confidently very early mornings or late evening / night. __________________ Richard Fishing Tackle | Sea Fishing |Carp Fishing| Spud Gun | Zander fishing | Fishing Reports | Hunting Reports |

| Re: new to fishing need tips for lake fishing Hi, try a large Halibut pellet size 16 or 20mm on a hair rig, a good bait for large carp. Wrap it in Halibut paste and drop it in down the margin. |
