| Beach Tripods I'm looking for a tripod that is suited to my new 15ft rods i.e. Xtra long it also needs to have Xtra wide head and cups so that I can use two F/S rods without the handles touching the center leg any ideas? |

| Re: Beach Tripods Ian Golds super match will do it ! The only thing is dependant on the size of the handles, they can just touch the centre - I occasionally use 2 big FS reels together with no problems at all just make sure the handles are at the bottom ! __________________ SUPPORT THE RNLI - click : www.rnli.org.uk ... every little helps ! | Re: Beach Tripods That gives me an idea for my Veals Tripod: The top bar is only a piec of aluminium flat bar bent to shape with foam to protect the rods in the "cups" The bottom bar is a straight piece of aluminium with the cups bolted on. Soooo.... buying a length of bar from Buy & Queue, to extend width wise for large fixed spools should be easy provided you dont go to far and unbalence the tripod - if its a lightweight one. Maybe that helps with the problem??? |

| Re: Beach Tripods Ian Golds super match great tripod but better still are the Deluxe P &M Mouldings Tri pods 7" ones IF you want a tripod to last then this one is the best around I have seen for a long time (Solid as a rock) Justin |
