Question Sundridge Reflex 2 peice thermal suit.

Just ordered a Sundridge Reflex 2 peice thermal waterproof suit (Jacket + Bib & Brace Trousers) from my local tackle shop.

I went for this model primarily because the are one of the few manufacturers to do clothing in my size i.e. Giant (Fat B##tard) I tried an XL size one on & other than the the fact that it was a bit small, it appeared to be a very well made suit & very warm. I also liked the neoprene cuffs to stop water running down inside the sleeves when casting. They even include a pair of free hotfoot boots in the price £69.99 Has anyone else got one of these or know anything about them & if so how do they rate them?

I have the Sundridge Hot Foot boots Ian, they are ace. I mainly use them for sea-fishing. I've fished in the snow with them on and my tootsies have been lovely and warm. Wear thin socks with them or you'll have trouble getting them on!

Thumbs up Re: Sundridge Reflex 2 peice thermal suit.

Used to have a pair of Skeetex boots. They were the warmest boots I ever owned. Reputed to be warm to -40

Thumbs up Re: Sundridge Reflex 2 peice thermal suit.

Well my new Sundridge suit arrived today. Very impressed with it, although i've not had a chance to try it out yet. It's nice to find some kit that fits my ample proportions. A nice touch was the snug fitting neoprene cuffs to stop water running down your sleeves when casting. Only bad point I could find is that the bottom of the salopete legs do not have zips to make it easier to pull them off over boots. The Sundridge Hotfoot boots that came free with it feel very warm, but not as good as my old Skeetex ones. I ordered my usual size 12, but these feel massive. May try to exchange them for a pair of size 11. All in all a good deal for £69.99

Well I had a chance to try out my new suit yesterday. Conditions, cool & wet...
Conclusion: Very impressed with it. It's very warm, comfortable & waterproof, Has well located handwarmer pockets, a great hood with good vision & comes complete with a handy zip-up bag to store it in.

Verdict 9/10
