 Okuma interceptor Baitrunner.  Having seen some good write-ups on this reel in the angling press, I was pleased when Dennings Tackle at Portland offered me a deal on a pair of them. £50 for two. (Usual price, about £40 each) It just go's to show that you should try your local tackle shop before using mail order or Ebay. I've only had a chance to use them once teamed up with a pair of 2.75lb TC Carp rods, but am very impressed with their build quality & smooth action. (Three ball bearings) To date i've only caught one fish using them (A carp of about 6-7lb) But they performed faultlessly & I felt totally in controll.  Re: Okuma interceptor Baitrunner. Theres quite a lot of offers on this reel in the angling press. Sometimes for even less. Problem is that you then have to add postage costs.
