Thumbs up Geminii bait needle

As i'm forever losing my sea fishing Bait needles So I thought I would buy a spare one while I was in a tackle shop yesterday. Found this one from Geminii.

It comes with a handy plastic sleeve that you tape to the leg of your tripod so you should'nt lose it. It's made from stainless steel, but unlike other bait needles that i've had, the point is not sharp. Geminii say this prevents the lug or ragworm from bursting as you thread it on & I found it works well.
All in all a nifty peice of kit for £1.85

Re: Geminii bait needle

Spooky - I use green tape to keep mine on the leg as well ...

Best bait needle by far - have lots in reserve as I always loose them on the beach - Gemini also do a green one (sleeve) which is about 2" smaller ...

You should try fly fishing Gullyworm. I've got a fly fishing waistcoat with about 30 pockets. I keep losing things without even putting them down. I just forget which pocket ther'e in Last time the bailiff asked to see my licence, it took me about an hour to find the right pocket....

Re: Geminii bait needle

Good tip Greenheart. I do the same thing, however, me being me, after I'd first taped it up, I managed to drive the hollow end of the needle into my hand when I was packing up the tripod at the end of the session. Quite painful, so please remember it's there when you come to pack up.

Rich.
