St. Croix Wild River SteelHead rod

I just purchased a St.Croix WILD RIVER (salmon)/ Steel Head rod and I fell in love! Its the one with the "slip rings" and it's 11.5" long and a 4-10lb. line and a lure weight of 1/16 ~ 1/2 OZ. Great for all bream and trout. Can even use as a fly rod for larger species AKA: SteelHead/Salmon. I use for trout and small mouth bass, catfish, walleye.
I would reccomend this rod to anyone who fishes Natural lakes and Rivers! Paired up with a Shimano STRADIC reel is unstoppable!
I live in Pennsylvania U.S.A. so if some of my terminology is strange to you email me or PM me and I'll clarify. But I suppose it's all old hat to you. Cheers!

Re: St. Croix Wild River SteelHead rod

Nice rod spanky, not unreasonable, but too costy for my blood. I would buy the blank for 1/2 and pick my own rings, then spend a week or two of fun putting it together. Build all winter-lose all summer.
