| old vintage lures can any body tell me any thing about these lures i was given a box of old tackle and these were in a container i know the middle one is by hardy bros of alnwick ![]() any infomation would be appreciated tight lines kev ![]() |

| Re: old vintage lures Hi, yeah I'm sure they are old salmon lures. got a few myself, some have red feathers attached and I think they all had them originally as some of mine still have traces of cotton whipping but no feathers left. My old Grandfather said they used to attach worms to them sometimes as well, crafty old b*gger, in case there were trout about and no salmon. Never heard of anyone else using worms for trout but I guess they eat them if available like any predator thats hungry. thats the trout not grandfathers.
