| century tip tornado i have just got my tip tornado lite (5oz) back from the rod builder after having a full set of rings put on it (the broken rings were my fault i might add). i've fished with it 3 times last week and am so glade it's back in use. what a tool! if you have trouble getting the distance you would like then this is the rod to get your hands on even a gentle flick seems to put the lead miles. infact when trying to cast 20 yrds i had to slow the reeel down as my flick would have gone over 60 yards. a rod for a less abled or junior right through to the best in the world. i've recently got a tippy match after getting rid of one aboout 5 years ago (worst mistake ever). since i last used one i've put on a bit of weight and few muscles that i was lacking them years ago and it's made the difference. it really is a "casting rod that catches" as century say. as soon as you've finished firing a lead over the horizon (with ease) it goes onto the tripod and becomes a true fishing rod ready to pick up the smallest bites. then when it comes to hauling in fish or weed(no matter what size) it does it effortlessly. anyone looking to invest in a nice rod should take a look through the century range, they're worth every penny and are a dream to fish with. |

| Re: century tip tornado Just fished with mine this morning. Agree with every word you say, what a lovely fishing rod you can really bend it unlike some rods on the market that only really have a place on a field. Taking it up to Loch Etive soon to see how it goes against the spurdogs up there ![]() __________________ Come on you HULL! |
