Plugbelt

I just got ahold of the new Plugbelt by Bassgodeeper. I have always used a waistcoat & lure boxes before and found them restricting. This product is a breath of fresh air. After fishing for 25 years for bass on the south coast of England, I have streamlined my lure choice - sometimes only taking 4 or 5 lures with me for a day long session. This belt enables me to take up to 12 hard lures and countless soft lures - more than enough to target any species. My bag and boxes are now in the bin! MAny thanks, Nick Mackrory for inventing and designing this product.

Would love to come fishing with you some time!

Re: Plugbelt

Hi Moregoose

Welcome to the forum. Never tried plugging but it`s something I defo wanna try, seen a fella catch and land a bass on a plug at Folkestone, looked really exciting, even for a schholie it put up one hell of a fight!!

Tight lines

Re: Plugbelt

I <3 plugging! In North America (and now South America, continental Europe, South America, South Africa, and Japan) we have black bass in freshwater that respond well to plugging. I love to target them with topwater plugs.

Re: Plugbelt

Welcome to the forum MG. That sounds like a nice bit of kit, been thinking about something like that for next years rockhopping adventures as i am carrying way to much gear as usual.
I want to narrow it down to half a dozen plugs some soft lures a couple of spinners.
Topwater plugging has become a bit of an addiction for me, nothing better than watching a fish break the surface and slam into the lure.

Re: Plugbelt

Spinner, it's been an expensive and time-consuming habit for me for about 20 years. I got to show Bearded Alex his first topwater bite last week and I think he'll be similarly obsessed soon!

Hi Pyro, yeah it's very easy to get obsessed with that type of fishing. I could catch more fish by using bait but it's nowhere near the same rush as topwater fishing.
Hoping the sea settles down a bit over the holidays to have another crack at it.
