im lookin on purchasin some new fishin gear within the next week or so an im jst wonderin if yous could give me some advice on wer to look an what to look for...

i want a whole new rig out an iv probs got about £300 to spend, i rele dont kno wa is the best gear to look for an i only know how to float fish but i wana give me self more options, weva its pole fishin or ledgerin, as i am clueless about reels aswell thers so many complicatin words thrown in with them that make me feel even more clueless, i just kno how to reel it in an cast out! i generally fish freshwater lakes an canals.

if anyone could put me in the right direction i would appreciate it grately.

i usually buy 2nd hand. there are many bargains out there if you look hard. why not browse eBay or the like and post a link up for others opinions? or browse the local tackle shop to feel the weight of rods etc then search for 2nd hand, again, more for your money!
