Drennan Specialist I have a Drennan Specialist 12foot 1.25lb test curve rod that is 15 to 20 years old.Can anyone tell me if this rod is considered a valuable classic or is it outdated and not valued by todays anglers? It is in perfect condition and hasn't been used for years since I got hooked on fly fishing, should I try selling it,or shall I put it back up in the loft?

Re: Drennan Specialist I have one of these rods and they are fantastic for light carp work and great for Tench. they still hold their value and are perfect for surface fishing as well. I love mine and it is a great bit of kit. i have seen them go for over £50.00 on ebay so well worth keeping Regards, Steve __________________ Born to fish made to work

Re: Drennan Specialist Thanks Steve,I used mine for Tench and small Carp too. It's a shame I don't go coarse fishing any more, perhaps I might put it on Ebay it seems a shame to leave it up in the loft.
