Polaris float Ive just dug out an old polaris float I have never used. I wouldnt mind giving it a try but I am unsure what situations/conditions permit the use of one. Any views/experiences with this bit of kit are greatly apreciated cheers __________________ Species 2011.. Common carp,Mirror carp,Pike,Rudd,Dace,Eel,Bream,Perch,Roach,Barbel, Chub

Re: Polaris float I recently got one but am finding it deadly hard to use! When I cast it out with a feeder on, it just gets pulled under the water no matter how much line I give it, I have tried my line through both holes. Gave it another go last night and learned that the 'up and over' lob cast seems to help it work a bit better, but then the river's flow seemed to be dragging it under and every 5 seconds I was having to give it line to come up out of the water. Quite annoying. I think I'll keep it for calm lake work.

Re: Polaris float I found one great to use on a local lake, which was once abrick pit, deep water and they are great, make sure you are using enough weight. __________________ Ignore the margins at your peril
