hi ya

i am about to buy my first carp rod and reel setup i am looking at this set can someone give me there option please as i am new to buying a rod only own a pole

when you say buying your first carp rod, do you mean to catch carp with?
that rod is purely for spodding (chucking) bait out,m8. you're gonna want something with less test curve as 5.5 lb is way too much for playing carp. you're gonna need around 2.1/4 - 3lb max.

if your buying it for spodding then thats a good buy.
