| Re: what tackle for beginners To start with i would be looking at agood feeder rod and float rod, Some match reels. a Pole if you can afford one. The list is never ending. But to start with a a feeder and float rod. The feeder rod man enough to handle carp but light enough for silver fish. Same with the Float rod.
