will be upgrading my box at the end of the month and was wondering if anyone had the Ultimate rx8 seat box, any reviews would help.

Re: Ultimate tackle boxes

I have an ultimate seat box, it's not that exact model but it is similiar, they are not the best quality boxes in the world but do a good job for the money. One down side is that they are an awful company to deal with in my past experiences with them but maybe I was just unlucky.

Re: Ultimate tackle boxes

in what way were they bad to deal with as i would be dealing with them direct not through a stockist. The main worry i had was with quality as i wont know what the box is like till it arrives

It was to do with delivery, a few years ago when I bought my box we spent enough for free delivery and it stated that it only applied to the UK. Instead of the free delivery we had to pay an extra delivery fee than other mainland UK residents, and when we called to find out what was going on we were told we didn't apply because we where from "Ireland" which we aren't, we are from northern Ireland which is part of the UK unlike the sout, and when told this he was havng none of it, even though it didn't say main land UK only

You won't have these problems of course but they were really not a great company to deal with.

Hope you don't have any problems with them,

BW

Re: Ultimate tackle boxes

Already looked at delivery charges and was quoted £9.99 which i am ok with, think i will order the box and hope for the best.
looked at the preston innovations on box and the space station and prefered the rx8, tried to lift the space station tx in the shop and could barely move it lol
