| Having spent most of last Saturday at the Go fishing Show at the NEC Birmingham, looking for a new Carp fishing Rod Pod. I checked out loads of different models & eventually decided on this one. The JRC X Lite. ![]() I liked the look of some of they Stainless Steel Pods, but they were very heavy. This one is of powder coated alloy. Seems very strong & stable & has loads of length & Height adjustment. It even comes with a spare pair of extra long uprights for fishing steep banks & a strong carry case. I paid £50 for it, although I believe the RRP is around £65 Just looking forward to getting out & giving it a trial now..... ![]() |

| Re: JRC X Lite Rod Pod I have the JRC stainless tripod. What a great investment that was. For me the extra weight was worth it especially in windy conditions, and as I can drive to the waters edge at almost ever location I fish in Spain it is no hardship for me. I do think JRC really know what they are talking about when it comes to rod pods. |
