D-vice

wile im at it i mights aswell post another!

this one is the D-VICE, an invention by a buddy of mine on another forum,
these thing ar the dogs and beleive only a matter of time before they realy take off, arfter winning a bag of 5 early this year i would not be without them!
with thes i was able to deliver a live smelt on a 5ft trace to distances up to a 100yrd, gently reel in arfter 30mins and find the smelt alive and kicking,
(brighton marina)
but obviously ther perfect for delivering worm and mussel baits
without the need to mumify them in elastic!
ther very simple in design and have no moving parts and havnt had a bait fail to eject even when crambed with a whole squid!
have a butchershttp://www.fishyrob.co.uk/

a little trick ive found when using long traces is to loop it and stuff it in
with the bait, also they wont work in shallow water
as pressure needs to build in the tube on its under water desent
to eject the bait.

Re: D-vice

Looks a clever bit of kit. Has anyone else on the Forum given it a go? And is that Howie in the pics with the Smoothound?

Re: D-vice

absolutely great piece of kit , extended my casting ability with big baits , great for lobbing out a bunch of head hooked rag as well , always ejected and never let me down , will be using it friday night , big hooks and big squid and limpet baits !!!!!!!

Re: D-vice

I bought a couple, had 1 bait eject, but that was my fault for not stuffing it in far enough (FNARR FNARR!) but other than that, well impressed
