Thumbs down rod rage

Hope Admin dont mind (as not really meant to copy news ) but i read this article in news of world today, and couldnt believe it and made me so
(on same page as the georgeous O N J as well)

"A group of rod rage anglers are being targeted by police after violence erupted when they were asked to show their fishinhg licences yesterday.
They set apon the warden in his 60's and knocked him unconscious on the banks of the lake
his colleague from the enviroment agency was also attacked at Gold valley lakes in Aldershot hants
The injured man was taken to frimley park hospital with concussion, cops want to quiz 4 men and a women"

I hope they catch the scum involved , they are not anglers and should be ashamed of themselves

Re: rod rage

Not too far from me and I have never come across any nastyness around our waterways. I hope this is an isolated case and I hope the culprits are caught and dealt with in a way that deters others.

Jerks, you can only wonder whats in their heads.
The only time I've heard raised voices around here is when a goof-ball in a boat starts crowding the folks on shore, crossing their lines & such. Then gets mad when they start bouncing bobbers off his boat, as a hint. If that doesn't work, sinkers next. Its never escalated to bouncing tackle off the boater....yet.
