Anglers eats record Bass !!!!!

A bit of a fishermans tale in the Sun , a chap on holiday,fishing around Tenby has landed a record breaking Bass ,and ate it !

Thats a big double but it doesn't look near 20lb when you compare it with the record from the IOW the other year

Decent double but from that angle you can't tell if its a record breaker,I would have thought that if this guy really thought that there was any chance his fish could be so prized a weight,then the last thing he would have done is eat it!

Acording to the article he thought the record was 40lb ,its a cracking large double at least ....

Well Mike its only my opinion and i have compared it to many fish that i have caught over the years and although every guy is a different size IE a 22stone simple man always makes the fish look smaller in my view although a cracking fish i would guestimate at 16-1/2-17-1/2 max and thats lbs not kgs

Just found a piccie of the currant record fish 19Lb 11oz , makes the suposed monster look a bit thin .....
