Managed to catch this by pure fluke and nothing else .. loved it - can't wait for next week .. i've got some pics of basking sharks we saw on the way to Alderney - great big creatures but i have to say i was more interested in the spiders,pollack and wrasse plus the fat head of a conger in the wreck ..
Hardliners on Dave - about longliners in Sydney was on before so i was in my element - then match of the day to see Chelsea get humped made it a great evening

I saw the end of the program from the cargo ship onwards. Was very interesting.
I have seen a swarm of jelly fish in an estuary about 3 miles inland back in the 90's (on a hot summers evening) there were billions of them ranging in size from 10cm to around 1.25m in diameter, and about 30cm thick.
An awesome sight, stretching across the whole river. Wish I had a camera at the time.

great prog did anyone notice the lack of small fish in the shots i rem when you used to see whiting pollock ect in nature progs off our shores , also shots of the occasional flattie making a run for cover ,,seen enough spiders to last a life time nightmare to unhook lol is it true you only eat the legs
