Re: help with venues

dont know how far you want to travel each time billy
ones in bold you could park a van near beach ( although most carparks are pay)

from west bex to exmouth there are so many good beaches, charmouth, lyme, seaton, branscombe,budleigh() , exmouth, then over to dawlish, teignmouth, torquay , slapton then head to plymouth, not my area after that sorry

Re: help with venues

Give us a bit more detail Billy so we can check tides and stuff.... How long do you want to spend in the area? Where are you going to be staying? What kinda of ground do you want to fish/avoid?

All the beaches/areas Daves suggested above could be a good bet, but there are specifics that we could suggest as well depending on the tide.

As Dave says, we don't tend to fish much further down than Portlemouth, so you'll need someone else (Probably with 6 toes! ) to help with the Cornish stuff!!! (They're alright really, just feed 'em a proper pasty and they soon calm down! )

Re: help with venues

Im gonna be along for most of this guys so im gonna say reccommend venues with reasonably easy access- and then the places can be fished according to the tides .. its gonna take a week to do devon so probably 3 good marks .I think chesil cove , on to Abottsbury,Charmouth and then its 2 more . > over to you guys ...as for the dates its Bills shout but obviously the weather might come into it ...
we would also like some of you boys to be in attendance so thats another factor to come into the equation
If Bill gives you a starting date from western end of chesil then its basically 7 days or so to find 2-3 nice marks that people will be able to attend with us to a) fish if desired and b) buy raffle tickets ..
would nice to see you two boys again for a fish and maybe even a kebab dinner in the fishin wagon

Re: help with venues

hi mate just got your pm,when are you planning on being down this way? here's a few i'd recommend, seaton and downderry(not bad fishing really but only fished it a few times)from there i would go to Carlyon bay(good fishing off there),Watergate bay(good fishing right hand side)you've got to fish Loe bar(very good fishing there highly rated)..i would also say Porthtowan,St Agnes and St Ives,I've heard these are good fishing but never fished them yet.. hope this helps Billy and well done on the charity.. .....ALEX
