Re: Go fishing show NEC 2008

Went last year - waste of time IMHO for sea fishermen .... very little on show, although the ticket was free ,the cost of getting up there and £12 parking charge - waste of time & money ..... only good bits was listening to Alan Yates & Chris Clark and an impromptu casting lesson from Phil Hyde.

Afraid unless tame dark side fishing spins your prop - not worth going ....

Re: Go fishing show NEC 2008

been a couple of times, not great sea fishing but was more intersting when got back into the course fishing

best adviseto get the freebies is get to all the talks early and you get a ticket for the freebie they are giving away, then if talk dont interest you dive onto the next one and get that ticket, you cash them all in at the end , i did quite well 2 years ago

have a good one guys

dave
