As you can see all they care about is the money stating it will be like the cousre fishing license!!!

Sorry mate I totally disagree.

If they are going to use the money to supply the Royal Navy with torpedoes to sink the ships that are really responsible for the decline in the sea fishing we all love then I am all for it.

Of course if the Royal Navy are not up to it I am sure Squadron Leader Porker and his mate Corporal Scracthings willl be only too happy to fly their pigs in formation over the Japanses fishing fleet.

Seriously these guys are a joke. Can you really tell me they will patrol every cove and beach when they can't even stop our eastern european brothers decimating carp stocks in ponds down south?

Nope didn't think so.

And just in case , I actually agree with you. I just don't think they get it. At all.

A sea fishing license could never be patroled and if they were they would attack peirs and easy to access places.

Why dont the goverment get some balls and stop eu boats in our water and ban any type of commercial fishing within 2 miles of our coast line. That would be a real way to protect our coast line and fishing for future generations.

Whay does the goverment think tax will help? The only thing it helps is the goverment and the eu, we are already milked enough in this country to pay for the immergrants.

I still reckon the only answer is to ban non-sustainable commercial sea fish exploitation world wide NOW.
(We should go back to carp stew ponds.)
That is about as likely as my lottery numbers coming up, being as I rarely play it.

Seriously I still cannot believe that some Fench sailors took over a Royal Navy vessel with 12 Royal Marines aboard a couple of years ago. Now everyone in the world knows that the Royal Marines are the best marines in the world. What I don't get is why the ships captain didn't authorise force when they were confronted by piracy on the high seas? OK they were French and our supposed allies , so what? Was it an American general who said "Taking the French to war was as relevant as taking an acordian bear hunting"? No sorry, that was anti-french, prejudice and all. No further comment .

Anyway I drift from the point and rant (as usual) well I have got Tull and cider !! Anyway you can be sure that the government will indeed bring in an unenforceable measure to tackle a problem that does not exist to persecute the guardians of our coastal waters (us) to prevent the Al Ka Who Doos from wiping out our stocks of Tourtoises while ignoring the decimation of Bass stocks by foreign factory ships.

As my rants go , that was almost coherent, almost.
