| I may be slightly out of line here.I'm prepared to be told different. I was bored and looking thro' the secies photo's when I came to ben's chub in the lightweights.To be honest it has the look of a dace if you look at the mouth and the dorsal.All the chub I have caught have had convex dorsal and anal fins,this appears to have concave fins.Also the mouth appears to be not as big(round) as a chub. It looks to me like a cracking dace. As I said I'm prepared to be told different. ![]() __________________ 2 trips this year 0 blanks,7 whiting,1 flounder |

| Re: Species hunt I agree on the dorsal, although it is hard to judge with it folded down. The tail and dorsal colours are very different to my own dace though (could be male / female difference or something I suppose). |
