Talking Spod, Spod, Bivvy, Spod.....

I,ve been thinking about (Boillie) doing a bit of speciemin fishing (Spod) for a while now (Bivvy) & have been looking for a pair of rods that I (Particle Bait) can use for both Carp (Rod-Pod) & pike. Well I went to my (Spod, Spod) local tackle shop & took a look at what he had. (PVA) My eyes fell apon a very nice looking slim carbon rod labeled (Bivvy, Spod) as the Derek Richie Mk11 2.75lb TC By Pro-Logic. It had been reduced from (Spod) £55 down to £35 & looked to have a very nice actioned blank. (Bivvy, Bivvy). I assumed that at this price, it would have cheap fittings & rings etc, but was supprised to see when taking a closer look, (Particle's, Boilie's) That all the fittings were by Fuji I was even more suprised when (Spod, Spod) The shop owner told me I could have a matching pair for £60 (PVA, Particles, Bobbin, Bobbin, Rod Pod.) Not too many years back, the Fuji fittings would have cost that alone. Needless to say I paid a quick visit to the Cashpoint (Don't tell the missus ) & am (Spod, Particle, Baitrunner) now the proud owner of said rods. Has anyone else come accross these rods, or (Spod, Baitrunner) know anything about them? Sorry about (Spod, Spod) all the technical words, but I have been practicing them so other Carp fishermen will think I know what i'm talking about when I get out on the bank. (It were a Lunker 40 plus....) Now I just need to take out a mortgage on a nice little second hand Bivvy with rose's around the front door etc etc.......

Re: Spod, Spod, Bivvy, Spod.....

just to help you ian in your change over to the dark side here is some valueble need to know stuff and must have tackle items

so when ask what rod you got say they are horizon spankers

on reels just tell them they are big pits that hold a mile of line and have 8:1 ratio and have 50 ball bearings and can easerly winch in a whale and are smooth as silk .

on rod pods make sure they are very shiny as you will not want other to think you are skimping on your carping

on lead you will need to tell em your lead have a special coating that prevents your leads from burning up on re-entry to earths atmoshpere on casting them out with your horizon spankers

if you ever own a bait boat it must hold ten kilo of bait at any time have plenty of cloured lights on it to make sure others can see you baiting with it after dark and must have nat sav with echo sounder that can tell you where the carp our in the neibouring lake and even tell you how many scale they have on them .

all your tackle must be covered in real trees this includes all item that are hidden away in your bivvy

on bivvies you must not again skimp on price and it must be able to be erected in less than ten second as this will become a big talking point when other carp angler enter your swim ( remember bivvy knowledge will make you stand head and shoulder above the rest )

all way have the latest and most expensive rods and reels for you spod and marker set ups these also must been seen leaning against your bivvy at all time and its important that they are matching this again will make you popular as others like to borrow the best and latest (please don,t skimp )

on bait at all time tell other you a our a bait tester for the latest bait company this will make sure you can get away with the most bizaar fishy tales

AND MOST IMPORTANT DO NOT SKIMP ON COFFEE

TIGHTLINES
