We are going to Holt in Norfolk on Saturday, can anyone recommend any good lakes or rivers near by?

Thanks

Re: Norfolk Fishing

there is a lake nearby, 22 acres called Blickling Lakes, it holds some excellent sized bream, big carp, roach, tudd, skimmers, some large eels, and some pike (they only allow pike fishing from october to march)

i find the best method there is a method or cage feeder (with groundbait obviously) and soft hooker pellets.

you could also try cobbleacre park lakes look here: www.cobbleacrelakes.co.uk

or make a trip to roughton fisheries, my pb carp has come from there, and about 50 others along with that, filled with them and bream, tench, eels and roach, perch, rudd!

i normally ledger 1 rod to 1 of the islands or directly in the middle of the lake (depending on which swm i'm in) and fish the margins with meat for the carp.

if you need any more info, you can pm me, or ask in this thread, hope this helps..
