 Take a friend fishing Hi everybody I've been really busy just lately but last month I took a friend of mine fishing during the 'take a friend fishing week' and he loved it!!! I used the free day licence in the Angling Times and I took him to Lindholme lakes near Doncaster and we fished the Bonsai lake. I set him up with a pole and we fished with pellets at about 5 metres range and we caught loads of small carp, bream and tench. He had a great day and he is wanting to go again. It really is a pleasure to start an angler off and I recommend it to anyone. Of course there were the odd tangles to sort out during the day but by the end he really got the hang of it. Tight lines everyone and good fishing      |
