Re: whats the best bait for method feeders

with the method, i use a mix of groundbaits, 50% of it being strawberry or brown crumb and 50% anything from swimstim to black carp, to that i will add a liquid attractor, normally liquid molasses or liquid worm,

to this added will be dead maggot, (live maggots wriggle and the ball will break up) to kill them just put them in warm water, then chopped worm, corn, hemp and anything like that!

if you are using the method for carp, have the method feeder about 6inches away from the hook, mount the hook with meat, corn, maggot, boilie or whatever you prefer and then wrap the hook into the groundbait which covers the feeder, then add more groundbait around the hookbait,

when the carp find your groundbait, it will knock at it to get at the food, any bits of food that fall out, it will eat, 1 of those will be your hookbait, the weight of the method feeder will then hook the carp, all you have to do is land it!!

Good luck, hope this helps!!
