Maggots, AHHHH!!!!!!

im sure you will all have a right laugh about this!!
got in my car earlier and looked down at my feet to notice a small red thing, on closer inspection it turned out to be a little red maggot, my car had been at a garage earlier getting some work done (with my fishing gear in the boot) so naturaly my 1st thought was "those F**KING mechanics are having a laugh!!"
after further looking around i found the maggots had broken out of a sealed maggot box and a cool bag and my fishing bag and were making them selfs well and truely at home in my car
just spent the last 3 hours hovering them all up, had to take out all the back seats, the spare tyre, all the matts, in fact everything which wasnt pinned down, and only 1/2 pint of maggots escaped and im sure in afew days time the car will be full of flies still
so word of warning, maggots are slipperly little gits, especialy if they get in your car!!!
would never of happened if they were rag worms

Re: Maggots, AHHHH!!!!!!

ben it more common than you think i too have had maggot escape in my car, shed, fridge

fridge : the last one was costly although i cleaned the fridge out my missus insisted on me buy her a new fridge but hey look on the bright side i got a fridge for my bait shed .
car :
i remember when mine escape in the car too i cleaned it out thoroughly i thought and it was hot so i put the blowers on and got a load of flies in my kisser
shed :
when they escaped in my shed it was not bad as they could only escape in to garden and the birds and small mammals would deal with them but i remember going in and the floor was moving

Yeah, not too long ago I spoiled the whole swim by falling in

At 6'3 and 20st, Talk about making a splash I can laugh now but at the time I was glad that only my son was there. He wet himself laughing.
