Re: Roll on 16th June

yes i,m really looking forward to the opening night and i,m out for a couple of day back out to my favourite place and it will be like going home i,ve been preping for it for weeks by preping 10/15 kilo,s of particles a week and making the journey down and pre baiting the selected swims with them plus boilies and pellets too.
going down later this evening for the last pre bait session and raking the swim i will actually be fishing from thursday midnight .
this afternoon found me sitting down and pain-stakenly making the rigs for the session these will be line aligners rigs d,rigs both will be used on safety and running systems zig rigs work very well where i,m going cause of the weed so these will be made on the day all so floater will be going aswell .
this is a true wildeness and i know richard you would love this place and stalking is really the best out right way to fish .
even though i,m going to miss the england match cause i will be setting up that evening for a midnight start i don,t care fishing my no,1 sport and i can listen to the match on the radio .

Re: Roll on 16th June

sometimes they get in the little drains and yes i did have 3 out of 4 of them 20,s out of it .
you be surprised where they get i expect to find fish in there again this week end in fact i,ve already seen them in there during baiting sessions .
any it fun trying to get em out of little waters like this especially with a float rod ands a tin of sweetcorn . every one else ignore these waters which is good means i can wander uninterupted fishing these fish filled waters .
