Cajun Red Lightnin?

Has anyone tried "Cajun red lightnin" fishing line or any other red line for fresh water fishing?
If so what do you think?
I have only used green brown or clear mono for fresh water but have seen this Cajun stuff at £7.99 for 1850 yards (6lb).

water filters out some colour quicker that others .
and the colour red is the first to be filtered out completely thats why i went for red ice line for sea fishing

I think that Red shows up as Green in deep water. Might work in deep sea water, not sure about at the depth of the average lake though.

I LOVE it biggun!!
I tried it a couple years ago, now it and Trilene XL(old faithful) are all I use. I only fish fresh water reservoirs, rivers and lakes. I think the color goes much shallower than you might expect.

The first was "Cajun Lightnin'" its very similar to Trilene XT. Then they came out with "Cajun Cast" it red Trilene XL(my fav!!) I haven't played with "Advantage" yet.

Wow $15 seems kinda high, but then again ALL of your kit seems high to me. I'll see something on Veals and the price looks OK till I X by 1.8...WOW!! Its only 3.80 quid here. I would STILL recomend it completely. See here: http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/co...line&noImage=0

Costs 5.00 U.S. Currency and only use it as leader material if I'm using a slip-bobber with bobber-stop over 3 foot. It's only "invisable" under 3 feet. I pair it up with Berkely TRANSITION line and its an unbeatable combo for me! try it out.
